Leadership
HighWray is led by Lauren, whose own connection to the home goes back to 2008, when she worked here as a carer before building her career in the NHS. She now runs HighWray alongside Registered Manager Sarah. Together, Lauren and Sarah bring 47 years of combined NHS experience, and a shared belief in getting to know every resident as an individual.

Behind HighWray is an experienced, established care team — the same familiar faces residents and families get to know well. Families have specifically praised carers and support staff by name in their reviews, including our events coordinator, and our hairdressers.
Who You'll Meet At HighWray
Behind every day at HighWray is a close-knit team who know each resident well. Here's who looks after the home and the people in it.
- Registered Manager – responsible for the overall running of the home and the quality of care every resident receives.
- Deputy Manager – works alongside the Registered Manager and is on hand to support residents, families and staff.
- Office Administrator – the friendly voice on the phone, helping with visits, enquiries and day-to-day arrangements.
- Team Leaders – our two team leaders oversee each shift and are the first point of contact for families.
- Senior Care Staff and Care Staff – on hand every day and night, providing personal, compassionate care and getting to know each resident as an individual.
- Housekeeping – keeping every room and shared space clean, fresh and comfortable.
- Chef and Kitchen Assistant – preparing homemade meals and afternoon treats every day, using fresh, local produce.
- Maintenance – available six days a week, keeping the home safe and well cared for.
- Gardener – here two days a week, looking after the gardens, meadow and outdoor seating areas.
Our wider team includes our activities coordinator, who plans the weekly programme of entertainment, outings and pamper days, and our visiting in-house hairdressers, who keep residents looking and feeling their best.
